How does the Opus work?
The Opus combines radiofrequency with microneedling. On its own, microneedling provokes a healing response in which collagen proliferation increases. With the Opus, collagen increase is only the icing on the cake. By inserting radiofrequency energy into tissue approximately 4mm deep, this device prompts tissue remodeling that includes thickening and tightening.
How soon can I expect to see results?
Visible results can be seen within a few days, but typically after three weeks, the most noticeable results appear. Improvements continue up to three months after treatment.
What can I expect after the procedure?
Our staff will advise individual patients of their post-procedure requirements. The great thing about the Opus is that it requires such little downtime. You are able to return to your normal activities almost immediately following the treatment. However, take your hats and sun protection if you are enjoying boating or other outdoor activities.
